Tony Borthwick tells us he’ll be serving dinner at the
famed Plumed Horse for the last time on 16th September.
After some 8 years he has decided to move, along with
key members of his team, to Edinburgh, and plans to open
there in mid October offering much the same style of
imaginative modern European food that has won him many
accolades. This may be sad news for the inhabitants of
Crossmichael, but thrilling stuff for anyone who lives
